Photo Editor Pro AI

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Android app Photo Editor Pro AI (package pro.editor.photo.com, the "App") handles your information. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the developer of the App. By using the App you agree to this policy.

The short version

1. Information we process

Photos you edit on your device

When you use background removal or the object eraser, the App processes your photo using AI models that run on your device. These photos and the areas you paint are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. The background-removal model is provided by Google ML Kit and delivered through Google Play services.

Photos and instructions sent for cloud AI features

When you apply an AI template or use AI Edit, we receive:

We use these only to create your result, to run automated safety checks that block prohibited content, and to handle reports you submit. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

App identifiers and usage data

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive purchase status and a purchase token so we can unlock Pro features. We never receive your payment card details.

Advertising data

If you watch a rewarded ad to earn credits, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data. See Ads and your choices.

Reports and support

If you report an AI result, we store your report along with the related request. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Data stored only on your device

Your edit history, saved images and app settings are stored in the App's private storage on your phone. Images you save are placed in your gallery under Pictures/PhotoEditorPro. This data is not uploaded to us. The App is excluded from Android cloud backup, so uninstalling the App deletes its private data.

2. How we use information

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as far as each one needs it:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the App. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except through AdMob as described below.

The images you choose to share go to the apps you pick in Android's share sheet. Those apps are covered by their own privacy policies.

4. How long we keep it

5. International transfers

Our servers and our AI providers process data in Singapore and may process it in other countries. This may be outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps required by applicable law to protect it.

6. Ads and your choices

The App offers optional rewarded ads that you can watch to earn extra credits. Ads are served by Google AdMob. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent before it shows personalised ads. You can change that choice later from the App's settings. Elsewhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads. To learn how Google uses data, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

7. Device permissions

The App does not request access to your storage, camera, contacts or location. You choose photos with Android's system Photo Picker, so the App only sees the photos you select. Saving to your gallery uses Android's MediaStore and needs no permission. The App uses the internet to provide cloud AI features, ads, purchases and diagnostics.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents also have the right to know about, delete and correct their information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell personal information.

Because the App does not use named accounts, please include your anonymous user ID when you contact us, so that we can find your data. You can find the ID in the App under Settings. You can also delete everything stored on your device at any time by uninstalling the App. We respond to requests within 30 days.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age set by your country's law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We encrypt data in transit with HTTPS. Only our App can call our servers, which we enforce with app integrity checks. We limit who on our side can access stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and delete uploaded photos quickly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the App or on our Google Play listing.

12. Contact us

If you have questions or requests about this policy or your data, email us at support@hatitechnologies.com.
